ALLIED SECURITY INNOVATIONS, INC. PROVIDES INNOVATIVE GLOBAL
SECURITY FOR CARTON PACKAGES
___________________________________________________
WALL
TOWNSHIP, NJ –
September 15, 2008 -Business wire – Allied Security Innovations, Inc. (ASVN)
subsidiary, CGM-AST, today announced a newly designed, innovative product,
SECURE PERF™, for carton packaging, adding to its line of efficient and
cost-effective security technologies.
CGM-AST is a
world leader in providing tamper-evidence to un-attended assets. Its tamper
evident products deter theft and protect against possible terrorists inserting
weapons of mass effect into the supply chain. SECURE PERF is a perfect
solution for manufacturers and security inspection agencies globally.
“Since 9/11
the world has been more sensitive to securing its supply chain. The requirement
for 100% screening as spelled out in HR-1, will increase the need for offset
re-inspection of much of the cargo coming into the country”, explains Anthony
Shupin, CEO & President. “SECURE PERF allows easy, identifiable
secondary closure of examined cargo, without the need for special tooling.
Because it can be customized, yet contains all the unique security features that
make up our #1 selling products, it will provide both security and
identification, enabling the cargo to quickly pass through screening stations.”
“SECURE PERF
can be applied to allow tamper indicating evidence to sealed boxes at point of
origin,” states Bob Frucci, CGM-AST Director for North America. “Or it can be
applied by post scanning inspectors to ensure that the cartons have not been
breached”. The unique features of sequential numbering and self wound
pre-perforation for ease of dispensing make it productive, cost-effective and
easy to use.”
Company
officials estimate this new product represents a multi-million dollar
opportunity.
